Mukilteo Beach

They were calling for a gorgeous day today so we decided to head up to Mukilteo and play at the beach. We had a blast! My parents came and met us for a picnic and exploring the beach. I went to high school in Mukilteo so this cute little city has a piece of my heart. I always enjoy visiting-it brings back fun memories.

The water down there was so clear and beautiful
And we saw a seal! He was so cute & playful!

Grammie Jo & her girls...watching the ferry come in
...and along with that came some big waves, needless to say our feet got wet, hahah, we did not move in time
We decided to get a closer look at the ferry so we headed closer to the dock. It was a very cool day to be down there because the tide was out so far and it allowed us to walk all over the place and let the girls explore even more. We were so lucky with our day today. It was so much fun to just get out, relax and have fun with our family.

Daddy & Peyters
The next cool thing we ran across was a starfish. A seagull was actually playing with it in the shallow water....so we decided to check him out.
...and then there were two! Dan found one too and brought it over

It awesome that we ran across some sea life for the girls to see. This guy was stuck to this rock big time.
Peyton was checking out all of his little feelers
Agh, just a beautiful-beautiful day today! I cannot wait to go back. Days like this are exactly why we live in this rainy state. We were surrounded the breathtaking Puget Sound and majestic snow capped mountains today. Everywhere you turned; I love the Northwest.

Goodbye beach, see ya next time!
As we were walking to the parking lot, a huge Jet flew by...probably landing at Boeing Field just a few miles away. Pretty cool to see. All-in-all....it was a fantastic day. Thanks for meeting us Mom & Dad. xoxox Ames

Playing in the rain...

Last weekend we were just itching to get out of the house ...but it was raining- ugh. Oh well...we went outside to play anyways. We went down to the Elementary school in our neighborhood to play. This will be the school that the girls go too. Bailey will start kindergarten Fall 2011. She will do a pre-kindergarten next year -she misses the school cut off date because of her Sept birthday.

...and Bailey gets the ball!

It was not long until Peyton found the puddles....oh well- time to get wet :)
SPLASH! It was fun to see them live on the wild-side and get wet

Daddy's gonna get you!

Here are just a few random pictures. This week at Bailey's Preschool they were learning about Police Officers. Bailey was giving her classmate a ticket because he was speeding -hehehe

These are their "Wanted" posters- I thought they were so cute!
